According to Angus Reid Institute, Canadians recently voted Justin Trudeau’s legalization of marijuana as one of the top three highlights of his term as Prime Minister of Canada—a title he held from 2015 – 2025. 52% of those surveyed viewed this move as a success, with only 24% disagreeing with the decision.
Back here in the States, the federal government stalls the re-scheduling of cannabis in their Statement of Drug Policy Priorities, meaning no new negative research was found in our favorite plant. Furthermore, Delaware has a positive outlook on the future of marijuana sales for adult use, and Oklahoma has another opportunity to legalize marijuana after its initial rejection in 2023.
